I don’t have tips as I have never camped with children but it is something I will be coming to you for advice on next year when we go camping. Have fun!
I have a tip!! As a kid, my FAVORITE camping trip EVER was when my parents brought a Ziplock bag full of change and just tossed the coins around the campsite and let us ‘find’ them and then ‘keep’ them to buy treats on the way home. Your kids might be a little young, but maybe the toddler isn’t. But seriously – this is the most entertaining (and hilarious) game to play with kids. (And if you run out of change, just ‘steal’ it back and reuse it.)

And Erin and Becky, your comments about wine and booze made me laugh! I’ve already drank my lifetime quota of alcohol… I got into too much trouble and quit 11 years ago! … so diet cokes all around at our camp site!

Okay, maybe not. Here’s a real tip from my SIL. Take along good air matresses. NO ONE likes to sleep on the ground.
Bring LOTS of wine!
