Earlier this spring, before everything turned green, we took a quick evening trip to visit a waterfall… in Minneapolis. I’ve lived here my entire life and never visited Minnehaha Falls. The kids were pretty excited when I told them we were going to see a real waterfall!
It is beautiful! The kids LOVED seeing a waterfall!
There is a path to walk along the river…
…and of course we like to go off the beaten path and explore.
We especially like looking for animal tracks!
We’ll definitely head back! Great for picnics, hiking, playing with friends, and of course, seeing the waterfall.

Love Minnehaha Falls. I live near there so I ride my bike there once a week. It is also really close to Fort Snelling State Park. They have trails, swimming, fishing and even geocaching. It is so pretty there you can almost forget that you're in the city.
I haven't been there, either, but it is on my list of places to hit geocaching this summer!
