I’ve been having a lot of fun playing with the Instagram app since I bought my iPhone -  you can find me regularly posting Instagram pics on Twitter, Facebook and here as well. Yesterday I decided to take a photo each hour to tell the story of my day. Friend and fellow #iger (Instagrammer) Arik Hanson also took the challenge, as did a number of my friends and followers on twitter and facebook.  I thought I’d share them here as well …

Walking into the office. It’s a pretty cool building in Minneapolis called the Midtown Exchange Building. This is also where we’ll be having the Minnesota Blogger Conference this year.

After a 9 a.m. meeting, I was back at my desk for a few minutes. Every good marketer has a color palette on their cubicle wall, right?

Drove from Minneapolis up to Fridley for a meeting. Stopped at a gas station for some nourishment.

Quick sushi lunch with coworker and friend Andrea. We went to this Osaka restaurant, you know, the one where I was the very first customer and they hung my photo on the wall? Yeah, that one.

Driving from Fridley to Inver Grove Heights… We have hospitals and clinics all around the Twin Cities and this day I was all over the place. I took a screen shot from the map I was using on my iPhone to find my way.

Here’s the crew I was working with to film a commercial spot to promote… something top secret. Here they were getting the set ready.

During actual filming of the commercial. We were on a really tight schedule, but got what we needed. Looking forward to seeing the first cut this afternoon.

Back on the road, heading to get the kids from daycare.

…stopped at the grocery store and these gorgeous roses caught my eye. They were only $9.99 a dozen and I thought about buying some for myself.

Instead I bought this. Milk, yogurt, grapes. What every mom of a pre-schooler and (almost) kindergartener needs to get through the night/morning. I also picked up a latte for myself.

Back home, rushing around to make dinner and clean the house before our new neighbors came over for a play date. But we all sat down to eat dinner. Here’s Avery… with a messy tomato sauce face.

Sticker chart… representing the potty training going on. That’s all I’m going to say about that.

Our nighttime routine usually involves a bit of a movie. The choice this evening was Toy Story.

And then stories. Each kiddo runs to their room to choose a book from their collection. Avery chose Snuggle Puppy, and Alex chose an old school Donald Duck book from his Dad’s childhood collection. Here Avery was holding my hand in the sweetest way as we were talking and I snapped this picture.

Before I headed to bed, my favorite lamp caught my eye. I have a few great dragonfly pieces around my house and this is one of them. And that’s another reason why I love my new Marketing Mama logo.

Do you use Instagram? Would you ever try an hourly photo challenge? Think about it and let me know if you decide to try it.

This idea was inspired by this post by Leslie at Shuttersmack.

Love the picture of your baby’s hand in yours. My babies think they’re too old to hold mama’s hand. :(
